Today was pure magic

Today I had the most magical, unexpected, and impromptu playdate with three of my best friends: Tori, Alexa, and Diana.

I got an email that my masters were finished up (the last step in the process before uploading to Spotify etc.) and decided to listen silently by myself on the couch.

Half way through listening to my album, I started hysterically sobbing. With all the hours we’ve been putting in to make this album possible by the 19th, I hadn’t had a second to process it actually being complete.

In other words…. THE ALBUM IS READY TO FLY.

I couldn’t stop sobbing. All these years waiting + working for this moment and now it’s here. There are simply no words to describe the feeling. All I can do is cry and laugh.

All three of these incredible women held me. They let me cry. We put the record on and danced to it all afternoon. We painted. We felt just like Kids At Play.

I could not have imagined a better way to celebrate getting the masters back.

Tomorrow I will hold a sacred ceremony to send the record off with love and gratitude.. and then it will be 100% out of my hands and into yours.

We really did it… and I cannot wait for you to hear it.
